About the artist: Jennifer Blair-Cockrum
As a kid, I was always creating something: drawings, stories, puppets, journals, baked desserts, and scrapbooks. Always keeping one hand in the art world, I pursued other academic and professional interests. I realized thru the years that when I am creating I am a more complete and happier person. There is a constant flow of ideas that come to me throughout the day and while asleep. I have an internal need to create, produce, and share these ideas through my art work.

Thanks for checking out the new webpage and blog. Things in the art world have been busy but a good busy. I have 3 outdoor art festivals I will be participating in this summer, 2 solo show, some juried exhibitions, and a studio tour- so quite busy. Thanks for the comments.
